My Students are Learning to Read But Can’t Write a Sentence to Save their Lives: Findings & Recommendations for
Improving Writing Skills”

Students who struggle with writing do so for a number of reasons. This keynote briefly examines the research concerning written expression and outlines recommendations in key areas: the motor component, spelling, sentence construction, paragraph construction, essay writing, and revising/editing.
